Every crescent moon is built up by hand with gold bugle beads in the Zardozi way, with a tiny beaded sun beside it and a ring of dots around the curve. The motifs repeat along the length, a fine beaded gold line runs along the edges, and the ends are finished with tassels. Since it is all hand work, no two moons sit exactly alike, and that is the charm of it.
